Last Call for Medicare Benefits
Thursday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m.
Presented by Health Net
Medicare benefits are changing. Some Medicare Advantage (MA) plans will see lower annual increase, others a net decrease in rates. The private fee-for-service (PFFS) plans, which tend to serve rural areas, will see the biggest hit. Come learn about the changes.
 
 
What is Good Oral Hygiene?
Friday, March 19 at 9 a.m.

Good oral hygiene results in a mouth that looks and smells healthy. This means:
  • Your teeth are clean and free of debris
  • Gums are pink and do not hurt or bleed
    when you brush or floss
  • Bad breath is not a constant problem
The Center will offer free dental screening and information on Friday, Mar 19 at 9 a.m. For an appt, please call Carmen (626) 685-6732.
 

Free Hearing and Hearing-Aid Screenings
Friday, March 19 at 9:00 a.m.
The HEAR Center is offering free hearing and hearing-aid screenings. They also offer high quality digitally sound-processed hearing aids at low cost to seniors. The hearing aids are available in all models, from tiny in the ear to the new sleek slim tube behind the ear styles. The HEAR Center is at the Pasadena Senior Center on the third Friday of each month at 9 a.m. For an appointment, call (626) 685-6755.


See’s Spring Candy Sale
Ends March 22

Stop by the Welcome Desk and order your favorite Spring items. Whether it’s bunnies, eggs or assorted boxes, we will have them all and raise money for the Center. All orders will be available for pickup
beginning on March 29.

Friday Movie Matinee
Fridays at 1:30 p.m.
Join us at 1:30 p.m. on Friday afternoons for the weekly matinee. Popcorn will be provided to the first 30 people. The films are shown with Closed Captions for Hearing Impaired Viewers. Viewers are advised to consider the film ratings which may be based on language, violence or sexual content. Movies at the PSC are shown per an annual license agreement from the Motion Picture Licensing Corporation, #12421210.
