A Toast to the Joys of Music
Tuesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Tom Campbell will be playing guitar and singing songs in the Senior Center Lounge every Tuesday. After graduating from the University of Illinois, Tom served as a gunnery officer and navigator on various destroyers during the Vietnam era. After his stint in the U.S. Navy, he moved to L.A. where he started a 30-year career as a designer and college instructor at the Art Center College of Design. Once retired, Tom became seriously involved in music. When he’s not doing gigs with his local gang of musician friends, Tom performs at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Altadena, the Altadena Senior Center, the Huntington Hospital, and now at PSC. So, stop by the Lounge as Tom plays and sings country, country rock, blues, folk, gospel and traditional songs by numerous artists including Willie Nelson, The Grateful Dead, Merle Haggard, The Rolling Stones, Vince Gill, Elvis Presley, B.B. King, Neil Young and many, many others.
