Caregivers Support Group
The Center offers those in a caregiving position a support group.
Ffamily members and friends of seniors with Dementia or Alzheimer’s
Disease are encouraged to participate. The group is conducted by Center

Diabetes Support Group
Diabetes is one of the fastest
growing diseases in the world among seniors, especially menopausal
women. Pasadena Senior Center Diabetes Support Group learns about early
warning signs, new acupuncture treatments, diabetes shoes, what Medicare
pays for, and how to control your situation and not have it control you.
The group meets on the 4th Monday of each month at the Center at 1 pm.

Hearing Impaired Support Group
Support and information for people with hearing loss and their families
sharing life experiences and learning sign language and lip reading.
This support group is offered in six-week sessions with a maximum of six
people per session.

Memory Loss Support Group
A support group for those who need help remembering. A clinically proven

Rediscovering Hope Support
Group
This support group is for those who are grieving a death. The group
offers a safe and supportive environment where people can explore and
share feelings, find answers to difficult questions, get emotional
support, develop coping skills and rediscover hope. Come to talk, or
come to listen – whatever you feel will be helpful. Sessions will
include discussion and information on the grief process, depression,
loneliness, positive transitions, and other resources available to those
dealing with loss, death, and grief. You are not alone!
This support group is offered in six-week sessions with a maximum of six
people per session. Sponsored by VITAS Hospice.
