T'ai Chi Chuan

T'ai Chi Chuan is a relaxing, non-strenuous and healthy exercise that develops the body and mind. Tai Chi focuses on balance through the physical coordination of the muscular, skeletal and cardiovascular systems. Many health benefits occur from the practice of Tai Chi Chuan including preventing osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, poor circulation and cardiovascular problems.

About the Instructor
Ken Hui has been a Tai Chi and Chinese Kung Fu instructor for over 30 years.  He is the founder and head instructor of the Northern Shaolim Kung Fu Association in Los Angeles (1975).  The association is renown throughout Southern California communities including Pasadena, So. Pasadena, Alhambra, Monterey park, Arcadia, San Marino, Rowland Heights, West Hollywood, Hacienda Heights, Walnut, Upland, Claremont, as well as Fontana.   Many of Ken's senior students are currently conducting classes in these cities. Ken was born in Hong Kong in 1951 and has been in United States since 1966.  He started his learnings at the age of 8 in Hong Kong.  When he moved to the U.S., his first residence was in the City of Pasadena where he started his first classes and lived for over 12 years. His mission (and that of his Association) is, via the course of teaching Tai Chi and Kung Fu, to preserve and enhance the valuable knowledge on physical and mental health passed down through real experiences in history.
