CYNTHIA ROSEDALE
Interim Executive Director
Director of Events and Senior Olympics
Cynthia has been a staff member since 1992, having previously served on the Board of Directors for six years. She was born and raised in the Pasadena area, having graduated from Westridge School for Girls and University of California, Berkeley. She currently serves as Chairperson of the California Senior Games Association. She and her daughter Katie along with their two dogs and three cats have lived in San Marino for the past eighteen years.

ALAN BARASORDA
Director of Finance
Alan Luis Barasorda joined the Center's management
team as the Director of Finance and Membership in May 2007. Alan
is a born Angeleno. For the past 12 years, he has worked for
the Los Angeles Conservancy, a nonprofit architectural preservation
advocacy organization, as Finance Administrator. Since graduating
from UCLA, he has remained active in their Alumni Association.
He is also an active volunteer at the new Cathedral of Our Lady
of the Angels in Los Angeles. Alan resides in Montebello with
his wife and two children.

SYLVIA CHINN
Director of Development & Membership
Responsible for the Center's fundraising program,
Sylvia offers a keen understanding of non-profits, having held
professional positions with civic, cultural, and educational
organizations like National Public Radio, the Los Angeles Conservancy,
and the University of Minnesota . She has also volunteered
with institutions like the Minneapolis Public Library and Minnesota
Public Radio. Sylvia received a degree in English from
Cal State Los Angeles and took on graduate studies while in the
Midwest . Now a resident of South Pasadena , Sylvia enjoys
walking to the grocery store, petting other people's dogs, and
challenging enthusiasts to a few rounds of Scrabble.

TONJIA DUNLAP
Director of Outreach
Tonjia joined the Pasadena Senior Center in 1997. In 2001, Tonjia was
named Employment Services Director, overseeing all aspects of the program
and supervision of staff. In November of 2002, Tonjia became the Center's
Outreach Director and currently works in partnership with community organizations
in providing assistance and resources to the homebound and frail seniors.
She holds a LVN License, Computer Analyst Certificate, a Paralegal
License and a B.A. in Business Administration. Tonjia is a Pasadena native and resides locally with her husband
and two daughters.

RAÚL MARTÍNEZ
Director of Programs and Operations
Raúl graduated in Business Administration
and acquired a higher degree in Productivity and Quality Control
from the Technological University of Mexico. He was born in Mexico
City where he had a successful career in the hotel industry for
over 10 years. He moved to Pasadena with his wife and two sons
four years ago. After moving to the United States, he decided
to continue doing what he loves most: SERVING PEOPLE. He entered
the world of nonprofit organizations working in different capacities
at Pasadena's AIDS Service Center.
