The 2007 Follies,
the Pasadena Senior Center’s 6th annual stage show and
fundraiser, is well underway. And, with a theme like “Pasablanca,” how
could you possibly go wrong? This hilarious spoof of Pasadena’s
politics, issues and local personalities will play up all the mystery
and romance of “Casablanca” in familiar Pasadena surroundings.
As in the past, a
dedicated group of veteran “showbiz” guru’s will be returning behind the
scenes and on stage to show the all-volunteer cast of business and
community leaders just how to tickle our funny bones. Instead of
Humphrey Bogart, you can expect to see Mayor Bogaard, a past favorite of
the Follies, along with other noteworthy headliners.
The Follies will
take place on Sunday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Pasadena Senior
Center in the Scott Pavilion. Tickets are $125 and hosted valet parking
