AARP Smart Driving Course is a two-day course offered various Saturdays each month from 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. and is designed to improve driving abilities in older adults. Braille Institute offers two programs. Braille class meets Thursdays from Noon to 2:00 p.m. It is a combination of educational programming with information and speakers, and a support group for individuals with low vision.

Food Distribution Program is held on the 1st Friday of the month from 9:00-10:30 a.m. The program is currently accepting new clients. Health Fairs are offered the 3rd Friday of each month from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Vascular health screenings are now offered, as well as a Medical Safety Identification program (bring a list of medications, doctors and emergency contact information and they will be placed on a personal identification card free of charge). Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy is offered twice a month. Trained counselors provide unbiased information and counseling on Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D and Cal MediConnect. Appointments are required so please call (626) 795-4331.
