Caring for the Caregiver
Saturday, June 27, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
9:00 a.m. to noon

with Stella Henry, author of The Eldercare Handbook
Author Stella Henry will provide insights and information caregivers and families can use to help manage and maintain personal and family well-being in caregiving relationships. Document Preparedness
Thursday, July 2 at 10:30 a.m.
Participants will learn:
  • What is a trust and do I need one?
  • I already have a trust but I want to change it;do I need a lawyer for that?
  • Will a trust avoid probate? Will it avoid taxes?
  • What is a conservatorship; can it be avoided?
  • If I have a will, is that enough?
  • What is a power of attorney and why would I want one?
  • What exactly is probate and does everyone have to go through it?
  • Isn’t it best if I give my house to my children now?
  • What is the difference between a will and a living will?

4th of July BBQ Celebration & Dance
Saturday, July 4 at noon
$6 for members; $9 for non-members
Bring your friends and family for a fun and festive afternoon at the Center as we celebrate America’s independence. Our 4th of July Celebration will include lots of food, music and dancing. We will serve BBQ hot dogs, hamburgers, plenty of side dishes and ice cream sundaes. The Great American Swing Band will be on hand to entertain, so put on your dancing shoes! Please make your pre-paid reservation by Wednesday, July 1 at the Welcome Desk.

Friday Movie Matinee
Fridays at 1:30 p.m.
Join us at 1:30 p.m. on Friday afternoons for the weekly matinee. Popcorn will be provided to the first 30 people. The films are shown with Closed Captions for Hearing Impaired Viewers. Viewers are advised to consider the film ratings which may be based on language, violence or sexual content. Movies at the PSC are shown per an annual license agreement from the Motion Picture Licensing Corporation, #12421210.
