SAMPLE FEE-BASED PASADENA SENIOR CENTER FALL CLASSES
FOR FREE DURING “CLASS TASTING” VIA ZOOM

Four times a year the Pasadena Senior Center offers a full lineup of fee-based courses for members and nonmembers 40 and older.

As the registration period for nearly 30 fee-based fall courses approaches, anyone can choose from more than a dozen of the most popular offerings – from Acting to Zumba Gold – by attending half-hour “class tastings,” most via Zoom, for free Monday, Oct. 4, and Tuesday, Oct. 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Pasadena Senior Center also will give prospective fall participants an opportunity to meet the instructors and learn more about the courses. Each class tasting will last 30 minutes. Some will be hybrid to give everyone the option to choose whether to attend via Zoom or onsite at the center.

After attending the class tastings, register for fee-based courses by visiting the website (click on Classes) or call 626-795-4331. Visit the website for class schedules and descriptions as well.

In addition to online classes, onsite events and other activities, members and nonmembers of the Pasadena Senior Center are encouraged to visit the website regularly for a weekly blog, monthly magazine, COVID updates for older adults, ongoing activities throughout the year and more.

The center, at 85 E. Holly St., is an independent, donor-supported nonprofit organization that has served older adults for more than 60 years. During the pandemic, doors are open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for social services and other critical services for older adults in need as well as limited occupancy for events, the library, fitness center and computer lab. Masks and social distancing are required. Rooms are sanitized after each use.
