Pasadena Senior Games 2025

Welcome to the Pasadena Senior Games, an Olympic-style multi-sport competition for adults age 50+. The Pasadena Senior Center is proud to host this tradition of excellence, good sportsmanship, and opportunity that was founded by Cynthia Rosedale here in 1993. The Pasadena Senior Center itself is celebrating 65 years of service to enable older adults to engage, enrich, and empower their lives. We’re “Getting Better With Age,” and the Senior Games are part of it!
Join us for the annual Pasadena Senior Games, to take place May 17-June 29, 2025.
Events take place primarily in the Pasadena area. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in 5-year age categories for each event. Recreational as well as elite athletes are welcome, and no qualification is necessary to compete.
We are in the process of securing venues and officials and expect to announce the complete schedule by February 17, with registration opening on March 24. Please check back for more information.
Our hearts go out to all our athletes and friends affected by the devastating fires. Although none of our event venues were damaged, we know that the fires have deeply impacted many of us, including several of our sports officials. We hope that our annual Games can be a joyous and healing one for athletes and the community.
Are you new to the Pasadena Senior Games? Welcome! They are open to all adults 50+, and we love having first-time competitors. You do not need to be an elite athlete to compete, but you may be competing alongside elite and experienced athletes. For the safety of all, and out of respect for your fellow athletes, it is expected that every participant is familiar with the accepted rules of their chosen sport(s).
