DINE AT SLATERS 50/50 AUG. 18 TO SUPPORT PASADENA SENIOR CENTER
-- PRINT OUT FLYER FROM PSC WEBSITE TO GIVE TO SERVER --
Anyone who dines for lunch, happy hour or dinner at Slaters 50/50 in Pasadena on Wednesday, Aug. 18, will have an opportunity to help support the Pasadena Senior Center.
The burger restaurant featuring patties of 50 percent beef and 50 percent bacon will donate 25 percent of that day's and evening's profits to the center on behalf of everyone who prints out the flyer from the PSC website and hands it to a server. Diners can eat at the restaurant or order takeout.
To download the flyer, visit www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org and click on Dine Out & Benefit PSC, then print out the flyer to bring with you to Slater's 50/50.
"The management and staff at Slater's 50/50 are very generous to donate such a large percentage of that day's profits to the center," said Akila Gibbs, executive director of the center. "Their donation will have a tremendous local impact."
The restaurant, www.slaters5050.com/locations/pasadena, is at 61 N. Raymond Ave. at the corner of Raymond and Union in Old Pasadena and will be open Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Anyone who cannot dine at Slater's 50/50 that day and evening will still have an opportunity to support the center by visiting www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org and clicking on the orange Donate button.
The Pasadena Senior Center is an independent, donor-supported nonprofit organization that has served older adults for more than 60 years.
