MEMORIAL DAY AT-HOME DANCE PARTY MAY 25 ON ZOOM HOSTED BY PASADENA SENIOR CENTER

Memorial Day is a time to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military from the Civil War to the present.

This year, instead of its traditional Memorial Day luncheon, the Pasadena Senior Center will host a free, virtual Memorial Day dance party Monday, May 25, at noon, broadcast live through Zoom for viewing on computers, tablets and smartphones.

The Great American Swing Band will perform favorite tunes for one hour so viewers can kick up their heels, alone or with a partner. Viewers are encouraged to prepare their own festive Memorial Day luncheons and eat them during the program.

To sign up for the Zoom dance party, visit www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org and click on Lectures and Events, then Online Events. For more information call (626) 795-4331. Membership at the Pasadena Senior Center is not required.

Founded in 1960, the Pasadena Senior Center is an independent, donor-supported nonprofit organization that offers recreational, educational, wellness and social services to people ages 50 and over in a welcoming environment.
