These workshops are open to all curious-minded people, regardless of visual acuity or background in art. Each workshop is based on the premise that art enriches lives because it draws upon thinking, listening and questioning, as much as it does upon seeing.  Through dialogue and discussion, class members will be able to distill questions and gain insight into selected works of art.   

Class members will offer their interpretations, discern what questions the works ask of them, and gain deep insights into themselves and humankind. It is not a course in art history per se, though dates, periods, styles, and artists’ bios may come up, but only in furtherance of the class discussions.
