HISTORICAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN FRENCH AND AMERICAN PRESIDENTS TOPIC OF SPRING MASTERS SERIES AT PASADENA SENIOR CENTER
De Gaulle-Kennedy, Pompidou-Nixon, Mitterrand-Reagan, Chirac-Clinton, Macron-Trump: love/hate relationships between French and American presidents helped define the times, tensions and calm between these allies for many years. This Masters Series presentation on Tuesday, April 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Pasadena Senior Center is titled ‘The French and American Presidents from WWII to Today.’
Presenter Guillaume Serina, a French-American journalist and five-time published author, has collaborated with international media such as CNN, Le Parisien and Le Monde.
Born and raised in Paris, Serina attended the Sorbonne University, where he received his master’s degree in history of international relations with a specialization in american history and the U.S. political system. He teaches history and political science at the International School of Los Angeles.
