FLORA OF THE SAN GABRIEL MOUNTAINS WILL BE TOPIC OF PRESENTATION AT PASADENA SENIOR CENTER AUGUST 1
Tim Becker, director of horticulture at the Thomas Payne Foundation, will make a presentation titled "Flora of the San Gabriel Mountains" Thursday, Aug. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Pasadena Senior Center, 85 E. Holly St.
Becker, who has more than a decade of experience in the field of horticulture, will explore with participants the unique and often rare wildflowers that grow in the rugged mountains.

The Pasadena Senior Center’s mission is to improve the lives of older adults through caring service with opportunities for social interaction, fitness programs, basic support and needs services, education, volunteerism and community activism.
